Album Le Mandarin P Petri

Exceptional reissue of the cult album of the initiatory Opera "Le Mandarin," recorded at Studio Ebène in Strasbourg and released at the end of 1989. This album was created with some of the best musicians from the Strasbourg pop-rock scene of the time. Among the performers, we will rediscover with pleasure Cécile Solin and Jackie Marsala, Wanda Leine in a duet with SUNSET singer Jean Michel Logeard, Patrick Genet, and Swiss singer Vincent Vallat. The beautiful lyrics and booklet were written by Patrick Petri, with musical compositions by Freddy Brua. The arrangements were crafted by the late and talented Jean Claude Camet and François Hoernel. Philippe Laiss is on bass and Francis Gentel on drums. Guitars are provided by Alain Lustic and Michel Jehlen. The sound production was handled by the legendary sound engineer from Studio Ebène, Philippe Batilliot, for a truly stunning sound for its time. An album that hasn't aged a bit, to be discovered or rediscovered in a remastered version. This reissue is made in homage to the author Patrick J. Petri (Idris Lahore), who recently passed away.
